The Bermuda Triangle (Devil’s Triangle) Disappearances Explained?

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as The Devil’s Triangle, is an area of the North Atlantic Ocean that comprises the southeastern coast of the USA, Bermuda, and the islands of the Greater Antilles (Cuba, Hispaniola, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico). The region is roughly triangular shaped and does not consist of an exact nor of a closely set territory in terms of measured perimeters. Estimates of the boundaries of this triangle go anywhere from 500,000 square miles to 1, 510,000 square miles (1,300,000 square kilometers to 3,900,000 square kilometers). There are no world maps that show The Bermuda Triangle; nor Devil’s Triangle.

The United States Board on Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle; nor Devil’s Triangle as an official territory of the Atlantic Ocean. Many, many years ago, there was great speculation about alleged mysterious disappearances of boats, ships, and airplanes within the triangle region. But, after years and years of exhausting in depth investigative research by analysts and writers and scientists; various natural explanations have surfaced, the most common being that sudden, powerful storms quickly develop, without any apparent warning in just previously calm waters, and cause wrecks that sink sailing vessels and at times low flying small airplanes. Such rapidly formed intensely strong storms, that happen in certain areas, have been known to various meteorologists for many years.

The “Bermuda or Devil’s Triangle” encompasses a large area including most of the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands.

The studies have shown that in a great deal of reports on vanishing vessels and vanishing airplanes of that area, important details of natural causes were left out either purposely or unintentionally by many occult; paranormal writers whose only concern was to write very highly profitable books or magazine articles. In some cases, some disappearance stories are completely without any type of authentication, and are believed to be pure sensationalism fiction. The marine insurance market, Lloyd’s of London, was asked if a suspiciously high number of ships had sunk in the Bermuda Triangle region. Llyod’s of London concluded that no unusual large number of ships sank there. Also, the marine insurance corporation does not charge higher rates for passing through that area.

The United States Coast Guard also determined that any disappearances within the so called triangle were scant and not anything unusual when compared to the vast number of ships and aircrafts that pass through regularly. The US Coast Guard discovered a lot of reports of the disappearances there were inaccurately written with false and misleading information as to what actually occurred. We shall examine some classic disappearances in that region and the real explanations discovered, sometimes discovered years and years later, but kept silent by various occult and mystery writers. The HMS Atalanta- a sailor training ship with primarily inexperienced sailors, sank in stormy weather in February 1880.The USS Cyclops vanished after March 9, 1918. Structural failure due to overloading with a much denser cargo than designed for is believed to be the reason for the sinking of the ship. Flight 19-a training flight of five TBM Avenger torpedo bomber jet planes that disappeared on December 5.1945. Navigational error leading to the aircrafts running out of fuel, then submerging deep in the ocean, is believed to be what happened. Furthermore, Flight 19’s leader, Lieutenant Charles Taylor, was told to go west, but instead chose to continue to fly east. Lieutenant Taylor arrived for flight with a hangover, flew off without a watch, and had a history of becoming lost, and then ditching this plane twice before.

A PBM Mariner aircraft with a 13 manned crew disappeared after trying to find the Flight 19 aircrafts. There was an explosion and an oil slick from that “search and rescue” airplanes. The Mariner Aircrafts had a bad reputation for an explosion from vapor leaks when heavily loaded with fuel, especially on long search and rescue missions, and that is the main theory of what transpired. The G-AHNP Star Tiger Aircraft vanished on January 30, 1918, and the G-AGRE Star Ariel  aircraft vanished on January 17,1949. The Star Tiger went from the Azores to Bermuda. The Star Ariel went from Bermuda to Jamaica. But, both planes were flying at the very limits of their range and the smallest error or fault in their navigational machinery could have prevented them from reaching the small island of their intended destination and made them crash afterwards as from a lack of fuel.

Dec 5, 1942 – Five TBM Avenger Torpedo bombers flying together on a routine overwater navigational training flight reportedly vanished over the Devil’s Triangle.

The Connemera IV pleasure yacht, after a severe wind storm, was found adrift in the Atlantic Ocean south of Bermuda on September 26, 1955. The crew ere probably blown into the waters and then drowned. A pair of KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft collided together and then crashed in the Atlantic Ocean on August 28, 1963; 300 miles west of Bermuda. In looking at the various vanishings in the Bermuda Triangle , there was once a theory that large fields of methane hydrates(a form of natural gas) on the continental shelves can erupt and then send gas bubbles to the water’s surface that would reduce the density of the water to the point that ships would sink quickly and without warning. But, the USGS (United States Geological Survey) has determined that no large releases of gas hydrates have occurred in the Bermuda Triangle for the past 15,000 years. In stories of “strange” disappearances in the Devil’s Triangle, there are reports of compasses that “go wild”, causing some people to think  that magnetic anomalies exist in that region. But, actually, the compasses are only acting naturally (normally) there.

Compasses have natural magnetic variations based on their locations within the magnetic poles (north and south), and navigators have known about this phenomenon for centuries. Only on a small number of places of earth does magnetic compass north and geographic (true) north are exactly the same, and the area of the Bermuda Triangle is not one of them. Conclusion, the Bermuda Triangle; the Devil’s Triangle is region of the Atlantic Ocean where is absolutely no type of supernatural activity and the areas has no more accidents or disappearances of various ships and aircraft than any other similarly sized area of the ocean in the world. Also, according to an exhaustive study of maritime shipping lanes conducted by the World Wildlife Fund in 2013, the Bermuda Triangle region is not even listed as one of the most dangerous waters for shipping.

There is a new upcoming action-horror feature soon to be out, a fantasy, called “The Devil’s Triangle”. The trailer is currently shown in theaters and is available on digital releases .This film is very action packed and is about a group of biologists who go through the Bermuda Triangle and land in the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Its people are planning worldwide conquest with piles of weapons and technology they have acquired taken from those who ventured into the triangle over many years only to meet their doom. There is a shark scene and a monster scene. A prominent star of the flick is Fred Williamson, the famous black American football player of the 1960’s and a big star who carried the leading role in many movies. Another is Diana Prince as Diane. Peter In 1941. The actress Diana Prince, also known as Kasey Protect and Kasey Kroft was born on June 6,1979 in Charleston, South Carolina of mixed Irish, German, and Cherokee heritage.
